Over the past several years, I’ve partnered with BQR, a streetwear brand operating at the intersection of BMX culture, YouTube-led content, and independent apparel. What began as an initial commission has evolved into a long-term creative partnership built on trust, consistency, and a shared commitment to doing things with intent.

BQR has grown a highly engaged audience through years of YouTube content, documenting BMX riding, car builds, and creative projects with a raw, unfiltered approach that resonates deeply with its community. Working closely with Josh and the wider team has enabled a considered, brand-first approach to apparel, with genuine creative autonomy and a focus on work that reflects where the brand comes from rather than chasing trends.

The collaboration has spanned a wide range of products, including t-shirts, hoodies, caps, stickers, and branded accessories. Each item is designed with clarity and longevity in mind, balancing strong visual identity with commercial restraint. A standout project was the BQR x Oakes Garage collaboration, created to mark ten years of friendship with YouTuber Jimmy Oakes and his first visit to the UK.

With further releases already in development, the partnership continues to evolve. The focus remains on building a cohesive, recognisable product range that supports the brand’s YouTube presence, strengthens its identity, and scales naturally alongside its growing audience.
